I studied architecture in Ljubljana and as an exchange student in Trondheim. Before graduation I lived half a year in Berlin, where I spent my time cycling and exploring the city, illustrating and fencing. I then got an internship as an architect in Norway. During that time I became very interested in Norwegian language and literature. I returned to Ljubljana and graduated in 2010 with the project Literature House, in which I was concerned with translating the fictional world into architecture.

After graduation I worked as an architect in Ljubljana. In that time I recieved an offer to translate a Norwegian novel, which made me move back to Trondheim to study linguistics. Since 2011 I’ve lived in Norway and worked as an architect, translator and illustrator.

For me, working with architecture and language is very similar – it’s about recognizing a potential, understanding a context, developing a form and creating an effect. I am glad to have joined an office that’s involved in diverse projects and appreciates interdisciplinary skills.
